And then... to cap off a terrible day wifey brings a christmas cake in while I'm sitting at home trying to catch up on the work I'd been unable to do through the evening and says 'smell this cake' and it did smell absolutely delicious... Then she said ' you can't eat it, its for daughter's brownie meeting next week.' Now that seemed like an unreasonable kick when I'm down which she didn't seem to comprehend and, even though I tried to parallel it to her by saying 'imagine if you'd come back from a wretched day and I'd waved a bar of cholcalate in your face' she didn't seem to get that it was something of an unhelpful act. All she said was 'if it had been a bad day I would have bought my own chocolate...' still thinking that the whole thing was an amusing little joke. Sigh. So much for understanding.
And THEN I find that all of my NTL webpages have gone the way of an evaporated do-do so I need to try and find backups for as much as I can do and sort that ontio a new host (although I suspect all of the artwork on this blog will be hard to track down and trace and resort...)
Hope reserves now fully depleted. Nobody had better mess me about in the classes tomorrow. I'm likely to not be that patient. WHich is also a little bit of poor timing: I'm being observed in one of my classes tomorrow as well... yayness.
