GIG OF THE DECADE....

OK, apols if this comes off like a Myspace bulletin however I've been working 50 hour plus weeks for a while now (actually since September but hey, who's counting) on a number of increasingly escessive projects.

Saturday is the youth group gig. It's a small affair, 8 bands performing in Woking Town Centre in the bandstand for up to three hours singing rocked up Christmas carols. We've got the youth comittee there to tell people what we're about and some of the songs are absolutely AWESOME. I can't wait, it'll be aces... I wouldn't be surprised if two/three or more bands got recording contracts straight away :) :)

Anyhow: Today was doing Christmas card artwork for someone, then straight to college to teach Bunuel and Photoshop and Expression (and managed to see a youth grouper who's transferring to the college and was nice to catch up) and then straight to the arts centre... Just got back, finishing off some of the bits and pieces that still need doing and then.. Well, lets just say that there is so much to do that I've micro managed the day into hourly chunks to try and fit it all in... It basically goes hour for artwork for WYAC gig, four hours teaching at college, straight to the centre to pick up the hoodies that we painted the Youth Council logo on for saturday, back home to pick daughter up from school, eat dinner, off to youth group until 10 then back home....

If it wasn't for the fact that it's also my birthday tomorrow it might even be achievable.

Ah well... I'll do what I can and hopefully sleep well on the sunday (which is when I'm getting around to actually doing the birthday stuff proper...) Then there's a couple of meetings on monday to look forward to and the boiler is being fixed at the centre as well yay!

Righto, laptop is on reserve battery power. Time to sleep :)

Saturday. If you're in Woking you'll hear us :)
