Took daughter and friend to library the other day. Daughter sat on a metal chair and said (fairly loudly) 'Dad my feet cant reach the ground. I have to slunch down like this'... Made me smile so I asked where the word came from and she said 'just appeared in my head so i thought I'd use it...'
Seperate tangent. Said Edge was out. Wasn't. Supposedly out today. Did meet someone at Stoke on Trent train station who had had it delivered as a subscription copy and we had a nice chat on the train home. Didn't mention christianity at all though for which I am kicking myself a little...
On a completely different subject does anyone know if I can add an avatar/icon image for the site rather than have the standard eye? Don't mind that one you iunderstand but would like to doodle my own if I could...
And on a completely different subject I found out that there's another teen-aimed book out there starring an angel. It's called Urban Angel by Andrew Chamberlain (sp?). No idea what it's like yet, shall try and look at a copy in town today (bit broke otherwise would buy it..) but interesting that two books on a similar subject are released at the same time.
