Busy weekend.. Both in terms of stuf fto do and stuff undone.. Actually it was busy from friday onwards.
Friday was a LONG meeting with publisher (mostly positive, couple of negatives that we'll try and adress..) then youth group (and wasn't THAT a fun evening.. Yup it was, despite the fact that we had two escape through a locked window - sigh, yet more visits and phone calls- and a broken tube bulb... Apart from that was a whale of an evening). Then Sat met up with a friend to unknowingly offer a shoulder to cry on, take daughter to ballet, son to grandparents, something in evening forget what off hand, craft show sunday morning + sunday school, sons christmas fair then home late evening. AAARGHHH!!! Managed to find time to design four Christmas cards to draw up and send out before now and then...
I say all this a: to generate comment upon comment of sympathy (HA! like I'm the only one in this particular fast flowing river) and b: to get my excuses in early in case book 2 doesnt make next November... :) Y'see I can plan ahead when needed...That said I still think it will be done.. (I think... we'll see) and the added impetus that I would have to book the band 9 months ahead is an added push to get things done. would be a bit embarrassing to have a band on stage while I'm still typing..
Busy day ahead today (one commision phoned in this morning, one to be done first off) then planning ahead for Christmas presents for family. AAARGH again. If anyone has any brilliant ideas for wife (everyone else is fairly easy to think of, wifes a nightmare to shop for...) then any brilliant ideas would be hugely welcome.
Currently listening to: OneHundredHours: Stronger Than My Heart. (which, incidentally, is the best cd of this year in case you weren't aware...) Currently playing: Nothing. Busy.
