Just waiting for a bath to run for my poor knees.. So I'll fill you in on the details.
Fam went on a healthy walk, organised by a local healthy walk comittee. Hour long mooch about with 20 or so others. So Wifey is walking with son boy and I'm walking with daighter having a nice chat with various people. This is healthy so I thought.
Then, we walk from a muddy river side path that we've been on for a while and onto a pavement next to a busy road to walk towards the next leg of the journey. I step onto the pavement and almost immediatley dissapear down a drain cover which has come straight out of its concrete holdings. Daughter follows me and the the drain cover slaps down on her ankle, squashing her against my legs which have jammed against the top of the drain hole. To add insult to injury I find we're balanced precariously on some electrical wire for the nearby traffic lights...
Less healthy, I thought to myself. We were halfway in on the walk o there was nothing left for me to do by carry daughter the rest of the way, hence getting back to what I hope is a less painful soak of my legs.
Incidentally, happy new year...! Hope its a wonderful one for all of you!
I've got a plan for this year.. Shall start to mention things as we go on, but for the moment can I thank everyone who's been supportive of me and fam over the past year and those who have shown an interest in what happens next for me, for fam and fpr a certain librarian.
