.. Ok so been an up and down week. Haven't been able to sit and type because wifeys been writing a story on the computer and since its so good can;t really stop her can I...? Actually I can't really stop her.
Anyhow, one small thing that brought a smile larger than anyone might expect... My study bible, like 98% of the study bibles out there, has the spine and covers hanging off... Bad design chaps, externally at least. Insides very good. Anyhos since the covers are within a threads cleavage of falling off I decided to tape it up. Half an hour later my study bib was well wrapped in a little more gumstrip than was strictly needed... but theres something about gumstrip, whether on a water colour picture border or used to frame something.. Love it to pieces. It's such a tactile tape, miles better than drafting tape (don't tell my Dad I said that... He'd string me up with.. well.. you can guess). Anyhow; best thing since sliced bread? Gumstrip tape. Go on, treat yourselves, pop out to your local friendly art shop and buy a roll. Then spend a lazy afternoon taping a book cover or something else that needs mending. Very theraputic. Almost as good as buying a box of pencils and sharpening them, one after the other....
