So I'm in Guildford buying photocopy paper for youth group + envelopes + printer cartridge + posting stuff when I run into a friend of my wife from her teaching days. Run into figuratively you understand. While I have the equivelent of three knees (I really do think one of the bones is broken, up to casualty tomorrow out at a quiz night tonight) I'm walking slowly.
Anyway this friend says would I like to meet Charles Kennedy the leader of the Liberal Democrats, who's in Guildford for a visit. Fair enough I says, get as much stuff as I can in the few minutes before he arrives then waddle down Guildford High Street with him and our local MP Sue Dougherty whom I've met at countless school meetings, residents associations etc. Had a nice little chat until elbowed into the road when he saw a couple of elderley possible voters... apart from that was an interesting morning. Got a baby on the way he has donchaknow. due around the same time as the general election. How much sleep can one man lose I wonder.
Apart from that not much to report really. Son's been ill and off school, polished off another chapter of the book, wifeys written another childrens books which, drat the woman, is very good indeed.
