and Furness family a go-go also...
So there it was, yesterday Dominic, Alyson and Audrey left St Peters (sons David and Ben still remain around which is nice though). Sad all round and tears were shed, the service was lovely and the meal after incredible in its organisation. I'm sure I couldn't have sussed out how to feed 180 guests at all but it all went spectacularly well. My contribution, the card (well, the front of the card anyway, the card was a 30 page book with lots of messages and pictures from St Peter's peeps past and present. Wifey, Karen C and Mo did the inner pages...), went down well also which was nice to see, despite me working from 5 year old piccies to do the characatures wnd finding that I haven't niticed they'd changed their hair in the interim period, despite me seeing them every week since the piccy was taken. Doh indeed.
Added a few piccies, the first a mix of the pencil and ink work in progresses, the second the card and the third Dominic and Alyson + card. God Bless D + A + A + D + B and see you at the comisioning service at your new parish in Milford on Sea... (Does that mean that our farewell service y-day was a decomissioning service?)
In other news finished the images for the latest Diocese Herald, due out early next month. Was a tight fit, in terms of info needed to cram in and time to do it in, but I think it seemed to work out OK. shall post images once it's hit the shelves as it were.
Currently listening to: Clarkesville: the Half Chapter.Currently playing: Yoshi's Island on the GBA. On level 3.5. Considering firing up Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow when I get a free moment as Chaos Theory looks so nice.
