Odd strange day. Lovely in places, odd in others.
Started early: had a meeting at Farnham college so had to mooch over there. Then back to Guildford for a couple of college related things. On the way I met a friend from college years past and she told me a couple of hair raising issues from the past week on her side so we left each other promising to chat more about what had happened later.
In college found I'd missed (completely forgotten more like) one meeting, met someone else unexpected, did some marking. Left to go home and change, went to the train station and met a student from years past and had a lovely chat. Then went to London for the Regent Street Apple Store iPhoneography exhibition/seminar (having a very quick meeting with a friend as I did so) before finally hitting the Wood pub in Marylebone for an impromptu meeting with the London Mac User Group. Fab stuff.
A loong day though, started at 6 and finished at half past midnight. Still, hopefully worth it on a good many levels. And fun of course, there was a lot of fun to be had and always nice to bump into students and youth groupers that remember some of the good times we had.
