Ok so survived the first day at FISH :)
For them what not in the know, it's a council organised summer school doo dah for kids in the (West?) Surrey area. Me, I teach charicature and manga officially but it's more of a basics of drawing/bit of painting/doing Skrinkies and other stuff course. Most popular bit this time seems to be the broken arm pretend casts we do as well, which doesn't fit in either charicature or manga, but I shoehorned it in anyhow. Regardless, the kids did loads of skrinkies but the digi cam is downstairs and I'm up and lazy so shall post them later. These are my humble offerings (read: not humble enough, sorry :) ) which were in my pocket so I scanned them for inclusion. Shall upload the kids stuff later.
What else? Son boy still sick which is a pest, shall have to try doctors soon if things don't calm down, but doc visits are often not easy or pleasant all told. Finishing up book 2 hopefully this week (aaargh) then it's eyes down for second draft time. In other, far more selfish news, there's a Nintendo DS barg on rll which is pigging me up a wall which is a bummer, and a self centred one at that. Ah well, and all that I try and say to myself. Still undecided about Greenbelt although it has come up in conversation twice since yesterday so guess it may well happen and would love to see Duke Special, Steve, Superhero, the Proclaimers and 100hours live of course.
Currently listening to: Oasis: Don't believe the Truth. Currently playing: Astroboy on GBA/Return of the King on Xbox when I have spare time. Level 7.3 on Astro is a pig on sticks though. Dr Sylver chapter title of the week...: Relative Distractions.
