Hmm now don't know if this is allowed or not... Think it is, so shall carry on.
One of the art group bulletins I recieve said please pray for Rob Lacey. Now, as people who know me know, I am a big fan of the Street bible (now known as the Word on the Street). Rob was diagnosed with cancer during the writing of the book a number of years ago and it all got very grim and sad for all concerned. Now a news update has come through saying that prayer is needed again and, upon reading the words I felt like I'd been punched in the stomach. He's due in Guildford in a week or so's time and only a day or so ago I'd emailed him asking if I could beg a couple of books for the competition for the Big Draw opening day for the Book Festival. Now I feel awful for bothering him with something so trivial. Anyhow, please pray for Rob, because as much as any book has grabbed my eyes and my brain in the past few years the Street bible is way up there and for that I'm hugely grateful. I try to pray for any artist on occasion, especially if I know they're touring and performing, but in this case, it's more focused and I hope that you can all join me.
