What a tippedy top evening that was. Should've posted here about it but been a bit manic recently and forgot to do so but took a group of youth groupers out last night to see the live show of the book of which I'm a big, big fan. Long time readers (hi mum) may remember that when we had the launch party for Dr Sylver book 1 we had OneHundredHours there doing the music (top evening that was) and the Street Bible actresses there talking about the Sb. So that's when I got to meet Elin and Lucy. Last night I got to see them acting the show with Abigail and how cool was it? If anyone was dissapointed that Rob couldn't make it then they should have had more faith that it would be an amazing night, because it was an amazing night. Rain lashed down outside, traffic was in a state of chaos, inside we were warm, cosy and having a fantastic time. A couple of the youthgroupers got overexcited (bless) and asked them if they could rewind it and play it all over again (which the actresses thought was sweet, I think I would have asked them to let me be and have a rest :) ) and all told looking forward to seeing the next chapter in the story, Rob's new book The Liberator, coming out in the suddenly very fashionable month of February 2006. Please do make sure you have enough for that and Dr Sylver book 2 when you rush out to stores near you....
..ahem...
Anyhow, looking for mini-ovens at the moment, for the Book Festival mini-book days. Yet to find the ideal one (is £15 on Amazon too cheap? Hmmmm) so off to carry on working. Then sign language lesson in an hour and.. well, it's all go. Big, deep heartfelt sigh.
Currently listening to: D? TMB. Currently playing: Prince of Persia. Dr Sylver chapter title of the week which has now been almost certainly replaced the one that was cut...: Chapter 0: A year in the life in the whispers of the shadows.
