Took Rosie to a friends wedding today and very lovely service it was too. Both Chris and Zoe looked very swish indeed (ratbags... sigh and etc) and much fun was had by all. Congrats to the two of them and God Bless for the rest of your married life, starting from this afternoon.
That's it pretty much. Small update today :)
Oh yeah, someone has pointed out to me that the new series of Grange Hill contains a beautiful, confident, deaf girl as one of the new cast of characters. 6 pm, CBBC, Wednesday. I'll be tuning in, intrigued as always.
Oh yeah, lastly: Delirious? new CD The Mission Bell is out this monday and, as the review below states, it's well worth a listen and a purchase. Some of the tracks that I was previously left cold by are now growing on me, the one that makes me laugh isn't anymore and some of them are still gilt edged classics which I look forward to seeing live.... Well worth a buy, I'm aiming to myself because two of the tracks on the pre-release CD I was sent (watch that head inflate, look at me I'm so special etc) have been rejigged for the release copy and I'm intrigued to see where they go now.... Monday, anyway.
Lastly lastly.. Have been rejigging Dr Sylver 2 a little with the extra time that I've been allowed. It's now tighter and oooooh I can't wait to see what people say when they see it. Next Feb can't come quick enough for me... Some people have been asking me what to do for a launch party and, tbh, I've got absolutely no idea whatsoever and not a gargantuan amount of time to sort things out.. But any suggestions? Anyone got any brilliant ideas I can crib or something? Let me know.
Also lastly, OK I lied, not a short post, Pete Grieg, founder of the 24/7 prayer movement, is coming along to Guildford next week and doing meetings for church/group leaders, youth group leaders that sort of thing... Looking forward to it muchly, I enjoyed Red Moon Rising, the book that catalogued how the movement started, very much and if you're looking for a good read it is, very much so... Have asked if I can pass on a copy of Sylver 1, because the new rejigged Sylver 2 isn't typed in yet and the ending has been updated in a pretty effective way that I dont want to pass it on and maybe if he has time an da positive endorsment follows it'll help the stalling of things with Sylver in America.... We'll see, but would be a blessing to see her and the kids move into other markets, and by that I don't just mean America but wherever Dr Sylver 1 would be appreciated.
Currently listening to: 6-0-6 on Fivelive. Currently playing: Prince of Persia, Sonds of Time if I had any that is, and I don't mean Princes or Sandses..
