OK so things are bizarre-o for me as ever, one of the chapter titles in Dr SYlver book 2 is entitled 'My Normal is Your Weird' and oh boy can I empathise with that...
So: where am I? Tuesday was cool, music groups getting along really well and a top evening had by all.
Today? taught graphic design to students in the local college for the first time. One day a week from now on in and actually they were top, top fun. I had wondered, because obviously the class came with baggage, and in the end the day went... well, not quick but it went well anyhow and all told I'm really looking forward to seeing them all next week.
Tomorrow? Sign language again. Slightly stilted by the fact that I have a horrible cold and can't really think. Don;t want to miss it so shall struggle along, he said as violins played in the background and flags waved to salute my bravery. Also, on the desperate for sympathy card I am ABSOLUTELY sure that I've broken a bone in my leg and am aiming to go to the A + E dept on friday (well, I've walked on it for a week so far and part from hurting like you wouldn't believe I'm getting there...) Well, when I say broken I mean fractured (because long term reader.. 'Scuse me, nose blowing break... long term reader: hi mum etc... will know that I've been in the fractured leggy bones dept before and they basically say: walk it off...)
SO that's then, then meeting with publisher... And there's an issue as well. Publisher phoned me up today and said he's managed to secure a last minute ad in a top magazine for Dr Sylver 2. Cool, says wifey (she took the call). One issue. Need the print spec artwork for close tomorrow.

So that was my afo and evo. Art is sorted and, bar one change, there now, which is cool at least and as ever I look forward to seeing it in place. Shall post it here later once it's agreed, done and dusted.
Friday is a meeting and youth group. Saturday is son party to go to, Sunday kids group, monday two Woking youth group meetings, tuesday Live and Direct, Wednesday teaching at college + Live and Direct, Thursday art group (poss), friday youth group again, saturday etc etc etc, repeat and sigh.
where was I? Oh yeah. Closing down for the night, however one small thing to mention. The opportunity exists that we'll be doing a Christmas Dr Sylver book, short extract, reprinted Christmas story from next year with new artwork, full on colour cover. This'll be limited to 500 copies, we think, and sold through.. ah well.. that's the thing we're working on atm. Anyhow... Thought I'd mention it on to all here.
