Just had a chat with a friend from the previous office waaay back when. Barely spoken in ages since the redunancey of July last year I think but we got in touch to help fill out the claim forms, and the whole thing, the misery of it all, came flooding back. I miss the guys I worked with, the cameraderie, the jokes, the coffee times. Not all of it, some days were not fun, but I still miss the team. Just thinking about the times when I used to look over at the art director as he was getting grumpy and say coffee... throwing things around.... Kicking footballs at each others heads during the weekly match... OK I admit, some of it was very kiddish, but thinking back on the times we had has put me in a very morose frame of mind... Which is a pickle, as I've got a million things on my lists to do and don't need to be thoughtful.
Ah well.
In other, other news just had a postive day of teaching at the College and another positive evening teaching art at the Youth Arts Centre... So at least some things are going OK. Actually, lots of things are going right, but sometimes they don;t seem to balance. But they do, I just need to reorganise my focus.
