Am doing a video file although whether I can get it edited or just uploaded straight I don't know. I do want to go back to Project Wombat a little today but teacher training documents need to be sorted also... :(
Hmmm just realised that this doesn't really cover the thoughts that came before the image. Problem is I don't know what the thoughts were. I know I was listening to the audiobook of Ringworld at the time, mulling over the feelings of the Franklyn film and trailer...
After that I dunno. The idea just sort of popped into my mind ala the top right quarter but I wasn't happy with the placement of it/the visual camera angle. That led me to start it from scratch a week or so after I had produced the first sketch and that carried on through a nasty mini-flu like bug when I wasn't sleeping.
To prove that no thought process came up through the making of it my mind had been geared towards doing an image of someone floating up through the ice on a frozen river (the cover is for the Feb issue so I wanted to signify the beginnings of Spring emerging through the ice of, well, now...) How that came to be this... No idea...
