Ooopsoloids.

Actually, while I'm here... Was just involved in a mini-debate about trends in Christian publishing and the term ghostwriting was bandied about within the context of the debate. So I asked for clarification about Ghostwriting because, for a start, my understanding was that it was a sort of shadey process....Anyway, the starter of the debate (and a ghostwriter) asked for the tangent to be put on hold until another time (fair enough, although the first time I've seen such a comment made in a year on this debating group) but even so, was intrigued. Looked it up and wikipedia says:

A ghostwriter is an author who writes under someone else's name, with their consent. A ghostwritten book is deceptive — the author on the cover is not the actual writer. On the other hand, the market for books written by celebrities is greater than the market for books written by unknown writers. The celebrity gets a book and the ghostwriter gets paid. Finally, the book is better written.

Anyhow my comment was, how is Christian ghostwriting different from mainstream and if it isn't isn't that slightly dishonest? Like I say I'm intrigued as to what the debate will be like when we get there...

Ok sidetracked far too much, back to work... Seven emails to send out, a weboage to upload and a prayer evening to go to. The night is young.

Currently listening to: Delirious? The Mission Bell. Currently playing: Surprising myself: Resident Evil 4, especially bearing in mind I recorded a thing for Premier radio about computer game violence the other day to be played this morning or tomorrow morning...
