So much could chat about: long week last week, including two back to back 16 hour youthwork/teaching sessions, a burn out on thurs, terrible sign language lesson, although I'm surprised I could still stand let alone anything else and how on earth I'm going to cope in the exams.....
Friday was aces. Utterly, truly ace in a way that I was not aware that I hadn't seen in a long time. I mean I'm hugely blessed in family and friends and work (in ways) but even so, friday was top. Two meetings that required a lot of prep for but they were both lovely and smooth, soon to pass on info about one and I really, truly hope the most exciting (to me anyway) news about the other a disctinct possibility....
Anyhow: meeting two is the one that's taken my mind somewhat. I went in trying to get a partnership agreement between a company and the youth group sorted. Walked out having pitched something off the top of my head that instantly grew into the most mind stealing of ideas. Worked as many hours over the weekend as I could get on it (bearing in mind it was Dad-in-laws birthday party on saturday and daughters party on the sunday and very nice they both were too, see blessed with family above) and sketched, planned and giggled my way through it.
Want to post some of the piccies, or the intro sequence, but shan't for the moment. But for the record "Wow" starts here.
Apart from that? Sylver went to print last friday, and youth group.. Youth group... The past few weeks have been troublesome, a couple of unhealthy rivalries spilling over into very unpleasant side effects. Friday night it boiled over and I spoke to both parties one by one about the fact that, if they weren't trying to kick pieces of each other off during the football game they'd be best mates and they both listened! Then one apologised to the other and it was accepted, off their own backs! I mean I could have sung, was smiling through the rest of the evening anyhow...
Top friday, all told. Oh yeah, slipped in there but Sylver 2 went to print as well. 2.5 weeks. Hopefully that'll be worth celebrating as well (I'm in that nervous "please like it" phase...)
All told? On an excited moment, a cusp. Listening to Five Iron Frenzy loud as you like as a result.
Righto, muchos, MUCHOS work to be done, just wanted to say a breathless 'Hi' :)
