Long day on monday. Long day tuesday as well and today has been no better... But monday pipped it...
Started off with school run, straight into London then for lunch with a friend who writes for a free magazine with a large circulation. Had a lovely lunch and chatted all over the place and hopefully a cool interview will be printed as a result.
Then met a guy who I've done various jobs through and had an ace chat in the crypt restaurant at St Martin in the Fields, which is our meeting place of choice, and then, directly after chatted to another friend who works for Premier.
All told, busy. Got home in time to help on the tail end of putting the kids to bed, missed going out to a gig in Guildford I wanted to see (was dissapointed but dog tired), watched disc three of Firefly and went to sleep far later than I should have.
Met some friends on the way as well (apart from the ones I'd planned to meet) a couple from a local church to me and had an ace chat on the train going back (was nice to bump into them at Waterloo, most unexpected) and then an ex-youthgrouper on the bus back who works at the Guildford YMCA.
Top, top day. Tuesday chaotic as a result. Brain somewhat poached and not there, weds so far has been three meetings in quick succession from 9 - 5. Yay.
Sign language exam tomorrow. Semi-confident as long as brain works. Prayer would be appreciated.
