Had a nice email this morning to say that one of my pictures has been put on the front page of http://iartmobile.com/

Truth to tell it was done in Brushes rather than layers so have mentioned that by return email along with a thanks for picking the pic.

Have almost finished the front cover of the Dragon, His Princess and the Fish's Library. It's all done bar the text which I don't think I'll do in Brushes this time. (Which isn't to say I won't, it's just not the best suited way to do it... or at least not the quickest).

Which is to say I probably will end up doing it in there, thinking about it...

Anyhow: enjoy:

Rumours abound that Apple will be introducing a 10 inch or so tablet Mac, similar to a large screen iPod touch. Maybe even around September or so, maybe in time for Christmas... Must admit I REALLY hope they do for a number of reasons. The first is that a new Apple format is always lovely to see and the computers have remained constrained by the brilliance of their current design already. The second reason, and most important for me, is that Brushes (and to a slightly lesser extent at the moment, layers) is a total joy to use and the idea of drawing directly onto a 10 inch touch screen is something I really, REALLY, want to do. Oh yes. C'mon Apple! large format iPod Touch/Mac tablet soon, yes?

((slight edit: calmed down the colour on the Dragon's face... Brushes has a tendency to really whack up the colours when an image is imported from the iPod to the computer and in some cases it works and others it doesn't. Wish it would stay truer to the original image but hey ho. It is an ace app still)).

(((slight edit 2. Added a little bit of watery reflection to the fish :) ))).
