So, in addition to speaking at the festival I'm doing the opening day which is a collaborative art event. We'll be drawing a book, the biggest book of the festival all over again, and everyone's invited to come along and take part. This is the image that's going into the book fest brochure which sets up the story. Last year the Dragon and his Princess had decided to journey from their home to the Book Festival and everyone who came along and joined us drwe, painted and collaged the route they took. This year the Princess has found a treasure map, to fit in with the days principle helpers, the fantastic Templar Books and the book they have most recently released: Piratology, so this year the Dragon and his Princess are going in search for treasure... What the treasure is... Well, I do know, but I'll let people find out on the day. If anyone was with us last year they may remember how book 1 finished and book 2 will end in a similar fashion.

Part of the irony of all of this is that leading an art day for 100+ people to come in and draw seems, if not a doddle, not unworryingly big. Speaking to 50+ people about the books what I writ seems WORRYINGLY huge. Go figure. Anyhow: Book fest opens up on the 14th and if people want to come and join in they'll be more than welcome.
