A short trip to the US has turned into 3 weeks in California, which has been lovely and also productive work-wise but a bit hard... have been visiting Liz who is sick with terminal cancer... I may not see her again after this.
But I am telling myself she will still be around in the summer, which is likely as she is fighting it and the average is about 6 months or a year if you are lucky; and it is a lovely sunny day, and we are planning to have Mexican food and margaritas after work tomorrow.
Recent reading: A Traitor to Memory by Elizabeth George - one of my favourite mystery writers, and her books are very long which is good value for a fast reader like me... it had a lot of twists and turns and an interesting setting in the classical music world, though some of the characters were a little irritating.
