140 students did an exam yesterday. 115 of them answered one of my questions. 12 of them answered the other one (it must have been harder). 1 of them wrote how he'd like to have answered my question, but he had decided to fail the course, and it was his dad's fault, and he quoted Philip Larkin. Sandra and I sat there and watched the students and took them to the loo counted all of the papers (4 per student) and put all of them in envelopes. For this we did two degrees each?
