on a very rainy day on the eve of our 10th wedding anniversary, a very real link with a very real little girl who we started to get to know and began to allow ourselves to start to love, has fallen through.
Y is not for us.
in the time between the canceled first appointment and the planned rescheduled appointment later this month (that of course isn't now going to happen) a geographically closer family has come forward. we suspected that would happen when they cancelled the first one.
We're going to spend today doing some retail therapy.
So now we just start over linkwise and look forward to our anniversary weekend away and the birth of our new niece/nephew(?) hopefully next week.
