I've had a brilliant weekend - circus eruption, midnight chats, great company, big roast dinner and the Baptism of a friend's baby. I am now quite tired and tomorrow I'm going back to writing essays - Great!
At the Baptismal service Matty was one of the Godmothers and she was also singing with the worship group, which meant she was running back and forth rather crazily! I was listening to Martyn Joseph this evening and a few lines of his song ‘I will Follow' caught my attention and reminded me of Matty this morning:
“The passion in my spirit
is the passion in my soul
keeps me burning
keeps me running on and on
I will follow you ...”
Matty's love and passion for God and her God-son was clear as she ran from one responsibility to the next.
