Today, somewhere between Oxfam and the bank, I managed to loose my purse. I got to the bank, and embarrasingly stood there for several moments, emptying my whole rucksack, desperately searching for my purse, so that I could pay in my cheques. Then I kinda panicked, and told the cashier that I would be back in a minute. I retraced my footsteps back to Oxfam, but could not find a purse. At this point, I was swearing quite a lot and going 'argh!'. A voice (that sounded scarily like a certain motherly friend!) told me to calm down, go back to the bank and cancel my card.

Dispite convincing myself on the way home, that this was not the end of the world, I was physically fine, friends and family were fine, all it meant was a bit of faff re-organising stuff, I still came back in a bit of a mood (sorry housemates!). I was annoyed at myself for being so stupid. Anyway, after talking to my parents, I decided to ring up the local police station, and report it missing. I did not realistically expect it to have been handed in. So when the nice policeman on the end of the phone, told me that a purse matching my description, and with my name on the driving licence inside, had been handed in, I was completely amazed! And it sounded like most things were still inside it, although he didn't know how much money was there. I am so happy :D. THANK YOU whoever handed it in!!!!
