A friend this afternoon asked if i knew what an 'erg' was. I replied, 'you mean apart from me?!' This friend reliably informed me that an erg is a unit of energy, and also rightly pointed out that this is rather apt. At this news, as you can imagine, I got just a little excited (only jumped up and down and said 'oh! wow!' a few times!). It is such a bizarre coincidence that my online initials make a word that is a unit of energy! Its almost as if the scientists have based their units on how much energy I have! Wow!!!!
BTW, I do have large numbers of ergs at the moment - already have a glass of wine in me and just about to get changed into 'Rainbow Girl' (basically wearing almost every item of rainbow coloured clothing I own) to celebrate a friend's birthday!!!
