Since last Sunday, I have had a few lines of a song in my head. And I can't not think what the song is. I've played ALL the songs/albums that I have thought it could be from, and still don't know. I'm fairly certain that it is one of the songs on my laptop, and I think its a folkie song. But its REALLY annoying!!!! I was in bed 10 minutes ago, but it was annoying me so much, I had to do something that might help solve the problem.
Ok. The only lines I have are 'out there in the night', 'think of me' (which I think gets repeated numerous times throughout the song) and 'the waiting fire still burns'. I have the tune of those lines in my head, but can't really sing them to you over my blog. I think the lines do actually go in that order and straight after each other. I did ask Ramblin' Folkie, but at the time I could remember even less than i can now, so she wasn't able to help. I would like to know, if possible, the title and the artist. THANK YOU!!
