Internet???

As i mentioned in the previous post, I do not have internet access in the place I'm staying in. But, if I bought a wireless card, then I would do. I dunno, I'm not sure. If I didn't buy a wireless card, then it would give me more free time to do work. I wouldn't be procrastinating online, and I would have chance to prepare properly for the exam we've got on the first day back in uni. In Swansea we have broadband, but through wires - I might use the card in uni in the future, but I'm not guarenteed to use it after these 6 remaining weeks. But, if I bought one, it would make it so much easier and cheaper to keep in touch with friends, which would keep my spirits up whiles I was there. And there are so many aspects of my life (not only the wibsite...) which depend on internet access. Renewing library books, emails I need to receive and research for work, are just a few examples. The world expects you to have internet access, in this day and age.

On the one hand, I think it would do me good to go without regular internet for 7 weeks, but on the other hand it would be so useful. I know that I have friends who I can ask to do some online things for me (like renewing library books), and I don't mind asking them because I've done similar things when they've been without access. But still, its not the same. What do you think? - opinions and comments are welcome.
