I've just spent a long weekend in Aberdeen, visiting my sister. It was great. Before I left she asked if I wanted to go to the mountains or to the coast. To which my response was 'can't we do both?!' So we went up towards the hills / mountains on Saturday and along the cliff path on Sunday. We did a reasonable amount of hiking (and my knee didn't hurt!!! :D ) during this time and saw quite a lot of the area, considering the time restrictions. It was good to have the time to spend with my sister and catch up properly with her, and its about as close as I'm getting to a holiday this summer.
