Phoned the contact re: the grant yesterday and was told there was no wiggle room with the deadline. The person I spoke to was very helpful, though, and pointed me in the direction of some other pots of money.
In other news, Matt the Youth Worker is happy to lend us the gardening tools we need. He also suggested that we may want to use one of the raised beds at the Commuity Centre to help with our project. I thanked him and said that I would get back to him on this, it may well be a useful addition.
