I've not been ignoring you all...it's just been a bit odd.
Last week was my first week in my new job, and I think I like it. The people are incredibly friendly, and I think it's going to be quite an interesting job...but at present it's all very quiet. I think they're just letting me settle in gradually, but the contrast with my old job is rather marked - the phone was going almost continually, and e-mails were constantly pinging up. Having said that, it's noticeable that I'm way more relaxed, have more energy and "bounce" and just feel far happier. Oh, and I seem to have managed to land an invitation to an
aikido club tomorrow night- that'll teach me to bemoan the fact that I've had to give up kyushindo judo since moving to Swansea.
I'll let you know how I get on.
