Permission to be really really cheesed off? - redux

So, I arranged with the glazing company to get the window fixed next week. They then phoned me a couple of days ago to say they'd lost the original measurements and could they come round on Saturday (i.e. today) at 11 to remeasure, and I said yes. I have just phoned them to see why they haven't turned up, and the following conversations ensued:

Me: Where are you?
Glazier: Oh yes we knew about that job but one of our glaziers didn't turn up and (line goes crackly and cuts off).

me (calling back): It's me again.
Glazier: I've no idea who you are.
Me: (explains the situation again)
Glazier: We don't know anything about that job, it's not on our schedule.
Me: well the person I was just talking to knew about it
Glazier: yes, well he's just gone to lunch. I can try and sort someone out to come out this afternoon possibly.
Me: But it needs to be soon as I'm working this afternoon, as I explained to the woman when she said you'd be here by 11.
Glazier: well we're very busy you know
Me: so am I, but I've made the effort to be here as I was told there'd be someone here by 11. Can I talk to the guy who knew about this job?
Glazier: I'll get him to call you back.

I'm still waiting. I am NOT happy.

[Update: they finally turned up at 2.45 - nearly 4 hours late. Good job I have nothing better to do with my time. Grrr.

Normal (more cheerful) service will hopefully be resumed next entry!]
