Garden photos

As promised, here are my own photos of the lovely garden at the Museum of Garden History, taken last week. I love those unexpected green, tranquil places you find in the heart of cities - I was thinking today about a beautiful garden I found right in the middle of Amsterdam, in the heart of the bustle and noise, it was an absolute oasis of calm. The book I bought at the museum is all about London gardens (and what time of year they're at their best). I've found a couple of hidden gems in there I'd never have known about, but intend to visit before I leave the Big Smoke.

In other news, I have sorted out lots of Stuff this evening. Specifically finally getting round (4 months late) to applying for my council tax discount, a ton of paperwork for my solicitor (with the obligatory cheque for something or other), and further getting my head round my funding application. This time, ironically, it looks like the OU reference will be the easy one, the tutor is briefed, has the form and is ready to go with it - but I also need one from my health visiting tutor, but of course they are on holidays for Easter so I've not even heard from her yet and am so far working on the (hopefully not misplaced) assumption that Everything Will Be OK In The End.

Next on the To Do List are to contact the Academic Registries of the 3 universities from whom I have degrees to get them to fill in yet another form (it really is never ending), and phone amazon to moan about the lack of delivery of a big (and not cheap) parcel. The delivery company haven't bothered replying to my email, so I can feel a stroppy phone call coming on this week.
