Having banged on yesterday about how great health visiting could be, today I had the opposite experience. Thanks to an aggressive GP who had a go at me as though I was an incompetent schoolkid and basically accused me of lying, I'm now really angry and wound up and upset. Yesterday I was feeling how I'd feel a little guilty about leaving the job when there's so much of it I like and find rewarding and will miss. Today every last bit of guilt has been blown right away. I'm off to the gym. I did succumb to a bit of chocolate today, so I think I need to use my anger creatively to burn off the extra calories! Gah.
