Breakfast: The usual, with a banana. Am going to have a go at making my own muesli soon.
Lunch: Lentil and vegetable soup (carrot, onion, potato, sweet potato, swede, courgette). Not bad, a bit ordinary but very filling which is good. Followed by mixed seeds and some grapes.
Dinner: Rice cakes with tahini (mmmmmmm) for starters. Followed by red kidney bean hotpot. Which was remarkably similar to a dish I (and several of my former housemates) used to make which will forever be affectionately known as "mush". Nice, but would have been better with pasta and parmesan. Afters was apple, strawberries and raspberries.
Drinks: No camomile tea today - it's the weekend.
Today's Exercise: gym. NB here's a confession: I didn't go swimming yesterday after all. I nearly did - I got nearly as far as the leisure centre, I had my costume and towel, and then realised just in time that I didn't have any money. As is so often the case with me, the spirit was willing but the brain was weak.
Good thing about today: Still losing weight! I'm the lightest I've been in a year.
Number of chocolate cravings: 0, but I'll bear in mind the fennel seeds tip for next time, thanks unordered.
Side effect du jour: my poo is bright yellow! Definitely better out than in, which I guess is the point of detoxing after all.

In other news, in all the culinary excitement I completely missed that on Tuesday just gone this very wiblog was a year old! Probably just as well I did, as I can't exactly have a cake or drink to celebrate at the moment.
