Diary of a detox diet - day 14 (half way, yay!)

Upon closer inspection, the cellulite isn't disappearing as extensively as I thought it was, though it's still much less than the blobby orange-peely mass it used to be. So that's good. Today's news was that I tried a new soup and it was stunning - butternut squash and sweet potato, with some ground coriander and ginger to give it a bit of a kick. Very nice indeed, though I say so myself. My compliments to the chef.

In other news, I've decided that April's book is going to be Tim Moore's Do Not Pass Go, a travelogue around the streets, stations and utilities of the London Monopoly board. I did start it a while ago but never had time to finish it so I'll start again and hopefully I'll enjoy it as much as his first book "Frost on my Moustache" (a journey to some of the more obscure parts of northern Scandinavia). We'll see. I'm looking forward to plenty of bizarre facts and history about this city I call home (though Lewisham never quite made it onto the Monopoly board for some reason, can't think why).
