So how come I still need a hot water bottle, extra blanket on top of winter duvet and bedsocks? Even as I type I'm draped in my downstairs fleecy blanket and hugging the hot water bottle. I thought summer was supposed to mean heat? And that global warming meant things were going to get warmer here? (not that I approve of global warming, but I may as well make the most of a bad lot). It looks like, along with charm and a half-decent shopping centre, anything approaching heat has simply by-passed Lewisham altogether.
