East is East/Monsoon Wedding (it's a double pack, bargain)
3. Last movie I watched:
Supersize Me
4. Five movies that mean a lot to me (in no particular order):
Amelie (I just want to be her. I love her naughty mischievousness without being nasty. And I love the magical quality of her life. I wouldn't mind looking like Audrey Tatou either, but I suspect that is a bit of a tall order)
Amadeus (drama, melodrama, scenery, wonderful wonderful music - fabulous stuff)
Cry Freedom (the best film soundtrack ever)
Lord of the Rings 1,2 and 3 (magic, swashes being buckled (or is that buckles being swashed?), good vs evil, and Aragorn *swoon*)
Latcho Drom (tracing the story of the gypsy people through their music from India to Spain. Fabulous music (including Taraf de Haidouks from Romania who are the best!), enormous vibrancy, increases understanding and respect whilst still leaving the viewer an outsider).
