I've just typed out my resignation letter (I decided to go for bland in the end - I'll save the more, uh, "therapeutic" bit for my leaving speech ;) ). It feels weird - even though I've been talking about this for ages and ages, I thought it would feel more momentous than it actually does. I feel a bit deflated to be honest, though really peaceful with the decision at the same time. Very odd. Maybe I'll freak out tomorrow after I've delivered it to my manager - probably as well I'm having an office day (as opposed to an off day, though I could have one of those too).
