Today I woke up and found my first insect bite of the year. Gah. It's driving me nuts, and is on my wrist so keeps getting caught on my watch, and because of that is weepy and horrible even though I've been really really disciplined about not scratching it.
Oh how I can't wait to go UpNorth and experience its legendary midgies. I don't know what it is about me - I must have a blue light on my head nobody's telling me about, the creepy crawlies just head straight for me and leave everyone else alone.
Perhaps I should rent myself out as a portable insect repellant at society parties. That would be one way of earning some extra cash, though to be honest at rather a higher cost than I'd like.
