Lightbulb moments

It's been a funny old weekend. Completely unexpectedly, during conversations at yesterday's London shipmeet, I had a couple of "lightbulb moments" where somebody (actually Gambit, both times) said something which illuminated something that previously had been a bit murky and not quite comprehensible. As a result of this, I have something more to think about with regards to some of the stuff I'm having counselling about, and (entirely unrelatedly) have just emailed my vicar with an enquiry about confirmation. It's so strange how you struggle with things for ages, and then all of a sudden someone says something random and it suddenly makes sense.

In other news, I think I have also managed to find somewhere to live temporarily while I find my feet when I first move UpNorth. Very happy (and relieved!) about that, though details will need to be sorted out nearer the time. Phew.

And hot off the press, less of a lightbulb moment and more of a "*%$@#!" moment, I was just slicing an aubergine (as one does) and taken a chunk out of my thumb. Ow.
