Power napping

On the drive back from Sheffield this morning, I was on the motorway and felt myself getting quite drowsy, so I pulled into a service station for a power nap. Although it wasn't as sunny as it has been earlier in the week, it was still quite warm, so I made sure my sunroof was open then settled down as comfortably as I could, kind of curled round the gear stick. I woke up two or three times with a particularly loud snore (I don't think I snore that much, it's only when I'm in a funny position - that's my story anyway!), which was so loud and spectacular that it made me laugh each time before curling back up to doze a bit more.

After about half an hour I stretched a bit, woke up, and suddenly noticed a guy sitting in the driver's seat of a nearby parked van, with a perfect view through my sunroof, chuckling away to himself as he looked at me. Of course his window was open too, so he probably heard all of my assorted snores and grunts.

Sigh. I'm such a lady.
