The place I'd intended to visit at the end of this week off turned out to be closed to the great British unwashed as it was being used for private functions. It's open again tomorrow though, so I shall go and report on another hidden gem.
Instead, inspired by our very own yay, I had a lie-in this morning. Only till 9.15, but that's really late for me! When I'm on annual leave I don't normally want to lie in, thinking that I want to pack the most I can into the day. But every so often, it's just what the doctor ordered.
I had a bit of a siesta this afternoon as well :D
And I still haven't started packing. By the end of the week I should hopefully have written my to do lists though. Once it's reduced to a couple of bits of paper it won't seem so daunting hopefully. Funnily enough, that's how I approach my essays as well.
