Last lot of garden drawings for now

I've been dodging rain showers to do my last lot of drawing in the garden - I can't believe I still haven't done any more packing! But anyway, now these drawings are out of my system I'll get down to it (really I will!).

Doing two drawings, one after the other, of the same scene, was an interesting experience, not something I've tried before but at the recent Turner, Whistler, Monet exhibition (not that I'm comparing myself to them! lol) I noticed all three of them often painted the same scene several times. With this one, I can't quite decide which one I like the best, but I notice that despite sitting in exactly the same position for both of them I've got the perspective different in each. Oh well. I'm aiming for a "feel" of the scene rather than an exact representation (just as well!). Anyway, here they are:

I think the first one is a slightly more accurate depiction of what I was actually looking at, but I think I slightly prefer the end result of the second one. I'll have to try them both in a frame to see which one I end up giving as the present.

And then I did this, from the same spot but turned round 90degrees. I like this one a lot:
