I've just printed out an article co-authored by one of my supervisors, which is due for publication next year in a very prestigious journal.
And on the first page there's an errant apostrophe.
It's not even anything obscure - it's an "it's" when it should be an "its". How heinous is that? I really really don't want to come across to her as a smug pedant (even though that's *exactly* what I am), but I don't know if I could live with myself letting it pass.
I so need to get out more.
