This afternoon, more out of desperation than anything else as Monday's supervision is looming with not that much to show for it, I did a couple of Google searches related to my PhD. I had very very low expectations of coming up with anything, but in fact I have found a number of really useful online databases which I think will be enough to enable me to blag my way through till the next supervision. Phew!
Actually, joking apart, I'm really quite excited about some of these links, and even feel motivated and enthusiastic about following them up. Hooray! Now the only problem is actually finding some time to read the darn things properly.
More laminate floor-laying tomorrow. But a week today I shall be on my way to my retreat. Hooray and huzzah. I caught a glimpse of myself earlier today and I've got the biggest bags under my eyes. Something tells me I'm going to spend more time sleeping than being spiritual.
