Today I got up an hour earlier than usual (and boy was that hard work) so that I could do lots of Romanian revision prior to my lessons restarting again this evening, and also work on a presentation that I'm giving as part of our Department's Research Away Day tomorrow (hopefully that won't be as awful as it sounds - at least we're not paintballing). So you can imagine I was really happy to discover when I got here to uni that I had forgotten to pick up the sources I was going to draw on in my presentations and have left them at home, and all of my Romanian stuff (which I had in my head was here at uni) has been either a. stolen by the cleaners who want to learn Romanian or b. left at home by me. I wonder which is most likely? Gah. And because I have a meeting here in the middle of the day I don't have time to go home and retrieve them till later.
I wonder how obvious it will be that my presentation was prepared at the last minute the night before. I'm too ditzy to be a control freak, no wonder I'm such a drama queen.
