The tiles are now finished, apart from the sealing, which I shall do tomorrow morning. You'd think, me being a musician and all, that I'd have good hand-eye co-ordination, but I couldn't get on with any of the various handy implements I'd bought, and I ended up spreading the grout with my fingers. I'm such a pro.
I'm really pleased with the windows. When I was doing the tiles I suddenly realised that I wasn't cold. More often than not I've spent the evenings shivering despite the heating and fire being on for hours. So it looks like double glazing is going to start paying for itself from day 1 - very happy about that.
