I had a drink this evening with a former boss of mine from squillions of years ago, who happens to live near-ish to me. I'm so pleased - he was the best boss I think I ever had, and it was great to catch up. There is also the possibility of a bit of paid work with flexible times, so I might consider that, although it would be a bit challenging (one of those kinds of things like when I had awful patients or stressful families, where I needed to grit my teeth and remind myself of treasures in heaven!). We'll see.
I really ought to be packing - I'm heading down south for a few days. I'll have pretty limited net access, so be good without me :)
